Betty worked at Duncan Ceramics as a decorator and ceramics instructor. She was also a master flower arranger.
After her husband Doyle passed, she met her boyfriend, Bill Ernst. They were married and shared many years together making crafts.
Betty was a woman of wonderful, loving faith. Her walk with Jesus was manifested in the way she gave herself and her resources to make life better for others. She gave loving care to many people at the end of their lives and was a woman of great hospitality. She loved and accepted others unconditionally, reflecting the love she felt from God.
Betty is preceeded in death by her son Dale.
Betty leaves behind her son Brad and his wife Cathy; her three grandchildren; Daniel, Melanie and her fiance Mike, and Mary and her husband Derek; and her two great- grandchildren, Benjamin and Sullivan.
A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Worship Center, 4581 E. Dakota Ave., in Fresno on Monday, October 15, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. Followed by a Ritual of Christian Burial at Fresno Memorial Gardens at 10:00 a.m.
