Alfred Sandoval, Sr.

Alfred Sandoval, Sr. passed away on January 17, 2017 in Fresno, California at the age of 91. Alfred was born on February 13, 1925 in Walsenburg, Colorado to Tranquilino and Caroline (Valdez) Sandoval.

Alfred worked as a mechanic for 40 years. He was a member of the Fresno County Westerners and enjoyed bowling.

Alfred is survived by his wife, Lucille; daughters, Rita Ann Valdez and her husband, Victor, and Carol Dinwiddie and her husband, John; sons, Alfred Sandoval, Jr. and his wife, Linda, and Frederick Sandoval and his wife, Kim; brothers, Tony Sandoval and Sammy Sandoval and his wife, Sandy; sisters, Cecelia Bravo and Lucy Garcia; 12 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at Tinkler Funeral Chapel & Crematory from 2:00pm to 7:00pm.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at Tinkler Funeral Chapel & Crematory at 7:00pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017, at St. Mary Queen of Apostles Catholic Church at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
