Adan Ricardo Gonzalez

Adan was born in Fresno, CA to Teresa Cobian and Alejandro V. Gonzalez on September 18, 2003.

He attended Heaton Elementary from preschool to fourth grade. He enjoyed his time at Heaton with his sisters and friends. In third grade, Adan joined the Heaton Bulldog wrestling team where he went undefeated during the season and in tournaments. He loved wrestling for Coach Rodriguez and her family.

Adan’s middle school career started in fifth grade at Baird Middle School. Adan struggled at first with the seven class block schedule, he eventually caught on and brought home As and Bs on his report cards. Adan made many new friends, joined cross-country, and track with his sister while continuing wrestling. He enjoyed his four years at Baird and had many fond memories of his friends and teachers.

He continued on to attend Bullard High School where he continued many middle school friendships and made many more. Adan continued to wrestle at Bullard and get good grades. Throughout high school, Adan made new bonds with fellow students, teachers, and coaches. He graduated Wednesday, June 9, 2021.

Adan was accepted into Fresno State where he was to major in psychology and later join the police academy.

He was shy when you first met him but would show his true colors soon after. Adan was always quick with a joke or a smile. Before his passing, Adan worked at America’s Tire in Fresno where he enjoyed his short time with his fellow co-workers.

Adan is survived by his parents Alejandro and Teresa and his two loving sisters, Desarae and Nadia Gonzalez. He is also survived by his grandparents, Amparo and Pedro Cobian; uncles, Silviano Gonzalez Jr., Ramon Cobian and aunt, Michelle M. Cortez, as well as many more loving cousins, great aunts, and uncles.

Adan will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Love you fatboy.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021 from 2:00 - 7:00 with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel, 202 N Teilman Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 2838 N West Ave, Fresno, CA 93705.
