Patricia J. LeJeune, 81, of Fremont, died Wednesday evening at her son's home with her family by her side. She was born April 14, 1931 in Melmore, OH the daughter of Harry and Margaret (Smoot) Jumper. She was a 1950 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. After graduation, she married Edward J. LeJeune on August 28, 1951 in St. Joseph Church in Tiffin. Pat was a lab technician for the Heinz Co. for many years, retiring in 1988. Mrs. LeJeune attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, Ladies of the Moose, and a social member of the VFW. Pat enjoyed attending REAC, Friendly Singles and High School Class Reunion luncheons, cross stitch, crochet, reading novels and going out with family to eat her favorite kind of food, Chinese!
She is survived by her daughters, Catherine (David) Frey of Petal, MS, Debbra (Theodore) Lowe of Fremont; sons, Robert (Michelle) LeJeune of Philadelphia, NY, Kenneth (Kina) LeJeune of Fremont; son-in-law, Vernon Salyers of Fremont; sister, Margaret Distel of Tiffin; brother Dale Jumper of Tiffin; nineteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Mary Salyers; three sisters, Martha Wonder, Helen Mompher, Evelyn Dunn; four brothers, Robert, Paul, Russell, and Raymond Walter Jumper.
Visitation will be Monday, January 14 from 2-8PM at Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral & Cremation Service, 416 S. Arch St, Fremont, with a prayer service beginning at 7:30PM. A Mass of Resurrection will be held Tuesday, January 15 at 10:30AM at St. Joseph Church in Fremont with Rev. Michael Zacharias officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Memorial Hospital or St. Joseph Church
