Samuel Sam Joseph Worrell

Sam was a maintenance employee at Miller Poultry in Orland, Ind.

He graduated from Concord High School and attended Quincy Schools. He was a state qualifier for Quincy High School in wrestling.

Sam enjoyed wrestling, hunting, fishing and playing video games. He also enjoyed wood working and making different things and MMA Mixed Martial Arts.

He attended Zion Missionary Church.

He was born March 20, 1986, in Knox, Ind., to Joseph Worrell and Kristin (Fosdick) Worrell. They both survive.

Sam married Terra Lynn Girdham on October 23, 2010, at Angola, Ind. She survives in Fremont.

Also surviving are his two children, Brooke and Elijah Worrell of Fremont, Ind.; his father, Joe and Diana Worrell of Fremont, Ind.; his mother, Kristin (Fosdick) Worrell of Dowagiac, Michigan; four sisters, Terra Worrell of Quincy, Mich., Jennifer Cummins of Niles, Mich., Anna Pender of Ashley, Ind., and Sadie Kereztesi of Dowagiac, Mich.; his grandparents, Laurence and Mary Fosdick of Dowagiac, Mich.; many nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Monday, September 5, 2011, at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont, Ind.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jon Bruney officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Fremont, Ind.
