He was born on January 20, 1944 in Martin, Kentucky, the son of Edgar and Dorothy (Rone) Osborne, they preceded him in death.
He married Donna Mae (Kaminski) on December 29, 2004 in Angola, Indiana, she preceded him in death on March 18, 2005.
Mike was a retired truck driver for Bostwick Braun Corporation, and formerly worked for CFS in Fremont, and CW Transport in Ft. Wayne.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, visiting with his friends, drinking coffee at Tom’s Donuts, traveling, and sitting on his porch. He was a very simple man, he never met a stranger, and was very happy with life. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and was also a former free mason.
Survivors include, a son, Christopher Osborne of Paintsville, Kentucky, a daughter, Anita Boone of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, step-daughters, Wendy Emerick and Patty Fugate, both of Fremont, Indiana, and a step-son, David (Deannie) Morse of Hicksville, Ohio, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Carol Brady of Payne, Ohio.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7 pm Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Friday, March 25, 2016 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, with Rev. Jon Bruney officiating.
Burial will be at Jamestown Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.
