Ricardo was born on June 15, 1938, in Manila Philippines to Juliana Punzalan and Olympio Trinidad. He grew up alongside his late siblings, Herminia Syquio, Diosdado Capile, Filimon Capile, and Mathilda Urquico. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from the University of the East, Manila Philippines. Ricardo married the love of his life Alicia Aquino and had three children Albert, Liza, and Ana. In 1980, Ricardo migrated to America to be an accountant. Five years later, he was able to reunite with his wife and kids as they too migrated in 1985. They resided in Sunnyvale, California for most of his children’s school years. He sacrificed greatly to provide a better life for his family, working over 20 years for Gigatronics (formerly Wavetek Microwave, INC.), ADP, and a short time at Office Depot. He finally was able to retire in 2003 and spent the rest of his retired life traveling and later spending time with his two grandchildren Solace and Raphael.
Ricardo was known to have a big smile and endless jokes to share with anyone he met. He loved his bay area sports teams. But above all, Ricardo loved his family. He was a great leader and role model. Ricardo exemplified love, dedication, loyalty, and impeccable work ethic.
He is survived by his wife, Alicia A Trinidad, children Albert (April) Trinidad, Liza McGill, and Ana (Zaldy) Dela Cuesta, along with his 2 grandchildren Solace and Raphael. He is also survived by extended families from California, Washington, and the Philippines. He will be forever missed by those who loved him.
