Sean was born in Fredericksburg, VA where he attended Stafford Senior High School and played Varsity Soccer and Football. Sean later attended Averett University in Danville, VA where he played Football as their star kicker and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management. Sean went on to play professional arena league football and performed many jobs in sales; his most recent position was at Kloke Group as a Relocation Consultant. Sean loved sports of all kinds and especially favorited Michigan football and the Washington Redskins. He was passionate about motivating others and was an active community member of the McShin Foundation. Sean was known most for his infectious smile and compassionate heart.
He is survived by his son, Christian Sullivan; sister, Stevie Palmateer; stepfather, Clifton Palmateer; stepbrother, Beau Palmateer; stepsister, Carmelle Palmateer; his uncle, Kenneth Taormina and spouse Graham Barton; uncle, Frederick Taormina; aunt, Joyce Amos; and aunt, Sandra Alexander.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Sullivan and Charlene Taormina.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service in Fredericksburg, VA.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Orange, VA.
Interment will be private on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Fredericksburg, VA.
A memorial service for friends and family will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Friday, June 8th, 2018 at The McShin Foundation in Richmond, VA.
