Rayon Ny’Zeir Washington, of Bowling Green, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on May 20,2022. Rayon was born to Kariah C. White and Rodney (RJ) Washington on February 23,2022 at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Shelia M. Cook (maternal); great-grandfathers, Steven E . Wilson and Gerald George (paternal). Rayon is survived by his parents, Kariah White and Rodney (RJ) Washington; brother, Rodney Julies Washington; grandparents, David and Keashonna Speight, Andre White , Rodney Washington (Canita), Phyllis Wilson (Lloyd); great grandmother, Bernetta Wilson; aunts, Nevaeh Brown , Serenity Carpenter , Vernetta Green (Jarvis), Vernetta Washington, Rolando Washington; uncles, Demond Carpenter, Dy’Lon Carpenter-Rich, Armani Brown, Deamorti Washington (Kelly) ,Jermaine Wilson; great-grandparents, Mary Croxton, Vernetta Wilson, Charisse Chandler, Robert Carpenter, David Brown, Kevin White, Kim White, Shirley Hawkins, Vernell Hartwell; Godparents, Bo and Nyea Corbin; great-aunts, Rasheedah Nevers (Everton), Joanne Wilson, Sandra Hawkins, Amy Widemon (Tony), Kiara Jones (Lamar), Gloria Poole; great-uncles, Stefon Carpenter (Rayna), Monte Cook, Jamal Johnson, Steven Wilson; and a host of many cousins and close friends. A visitation for Rayon will be held Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401. A funeral service will occur Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 3:00 PM, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery, 1902 William Street, Fredericksburg, VA. The family requests that those in attendance wear any shade of blue for Rayon. Rayon’s short time here on earth has touched so many people and the smile he gave everyone would just melt your heart, and you could not help but to love him. He will be truly missed by many, but never forgotten. My precious little Rayon, you rest upon the stars. As we gaze upon the stars, we know one star is ours . It shines oh so beautiful; just as you did on earth. One day mom and dad will be one; for we too will leave this earth. Your soul has reached Jesus; to God we pray for this.
