Born April 3, 1923 in Fredericksburg, VA, she was the ninth of ten children of the late James Bernard and Ada
(Carner) Stone. She was the widow of James B. Perry with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage and also the widow of Robert C. Weaver.
Mary enjoyed traveling, spending time at the beach, reading, history, antiquing, ballroom dancing and a good game of Pinochle. She attended Elizabethtown Senior Citizens and Mount Joy Christian Women’s Club.
Mary was a member of the Methodist faith and attended St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown.
Mary is survived by two daughters, Beverly Geesey of Elizabethtown and Mary Lynn (William Taylor) of Sacramento, CA; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; sister, Lillian Williams; brother, John W. Stone, both of Fredericksburg, VA.
A Graveside Service was held on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg, VA.
