Jack served in the United States Air Force for more than 20 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After retiring from the Air Force, Jack was director of communications at Merant Plc.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lou; four children, Julie Lubeshkoff (Charles), Jean Farnsworth (Bill), John D. McGonigle and Jody Cordeiro (Mark); brother Dan McGonigle (Diana); and 15 grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mary of Sorrows Historic Catholic Church, 5612 Ox Road, Fairfax Station, on Wednesday, July 2, at 2 p.m., with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project and SOME (So Others Might Eat).
