She was born September 23, 1931 to Floyd and Annie Reid in Boyce VA. She started working at a young age primarily as a waitress. She was married to Holtzman Frazier for over 40 years before his passing in 1998. They moved to Fredericksburg in 1957 where they bought their current home in 1958. She was a stay at home mom, a waitress at Peoples drugs, and a waitress at Drug Fair before working in the cafeteria of Fredericksburg City Schools for 20 years before retiring at the age of 77 in 2009. She loved spending time with family and friends, working in her yard with flowers, and going to dances on Saturday nights before her beloved husband passed. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her sons John Lillis and James Frazier(Diane). Her grandchildren Missy, Chasity, Stephanie, Shawna, Jessica, Mike, John, Christopher, Jeremiah, and Joshua. Her great grandchildren Kay-Kay, Kelsie, Grant, Heather, Shawn, Tyler, Kaydance, Joshua, Colton, Maleah, Cole, Cameron, Carson, Andrew, Briley, and Kylie. Her great great grandchildren Isabella and Eli. Her sisters Lola, Margaret, and her brother Floyd. Sister in laws Phyllis and Montree Frazier, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Holtzman. Her sons Mike Lillis and Clarence Frazier. Her stepdaughter Brenda Frazier, grandson Shawn, sisters Louise and Evelyn, and brothers Marcus and Tommy.
A visitation will be held Sunday June 4 from 3pm to 5pm at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Home 1621 Emancipation Hwy Fredericksburg VA. A funeral service will be held on Monday June 5 at 1pm at Mullins and Thompson. Burial will follow at 2pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens 3702 Loren Drive Fredericksburg VA.
