David Lee Fulkerson

David Lee Fulkerson January 3, 1964 - December 7, 2023 Age 59 David Lee Fulkerson passed away early December 7, 2023 in Fredericksburg Virginia. He is preceded in death by his father, Elmer R. Fulkerson, Jr. He is survived by loving mother, Janet L. Fulkerson and siblings: Elmer Roscoe (Kathy) Fulkerson, III, Sandra K. (Tom) Buckley, Veronica L. (Tim) O'Connell, Douglas W. (Vickie Stanley) Fulkerson, Clarence W. (Connie) Fulkerson, five children and many nieces and nephews. As a youngster David enjoyed fishing, riding bikes, playing softball or football 'out in the field' and roller skating with his siblings and "kids" in the neighborhood. He was always ready for a pick-up game of basketball or a good game of cards. He had a competitive nature and handsome charm. David had an intangible compassion that drew people to him; those who wanted to help as well as those he wanted to help. David connected with people. His wish is for his family and friends to think about and remember what he was like before he became ill. He spent a lot of time in Fredericksburg, still riding his bike and fishing. He will be missed.
