Calvin Glen Taylor

Calvin Glen Taylor, age 63, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at his daughters’ residence in Bowling Green, VA. He was born on August 17, 1956 in King George, VA the son of the late Ulysses and Mavis (Kay) Taylor. Also, proceeded in death by his sister, Deborah.

Calvin was a career truck driver and took a lot of pride in his job. He was a “jack of all trades” that could build and fix almost anything. He enjoyed working with his hands and when not on the road he could be found in the back yard on various projects. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Ellen Taylor, “Missy,” whom he cherished and missed dearly since her passing.

Survivors include his five children, Rebecca Taylor-Grigg and husband Jesse of Bowling Green, VA, Julia Walls and husband Michael of Fredericksburg, VA, James Taylor and fiancé Ashley O’Brien of Fredericksburg, VA, Jeff Taylor of Fredericksburg, VA Jeanne Taylor of Fredericksburg, VA; 17 grandchildren.

The Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, March 29, 2019 at Mullins &Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg, VA. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating towards funeral expense.
