She was born on March 11, 1963, In Washington DC, daughter of Bessie H. Sullivan and the late john Hemperley. She was a great swimmer and she loved to cook! She was always very kind and loving to everyone. She had such a big heart.
Amy was preceded in death by her father, John Hemperley; son, Samuel(Sam) Charles Pittman.
Amy is survived by her loving mother, Bessie Sullivan(Bill); son, David Lee Pittman; daughter, Caitlyn Whitney Pittman; sister, Ellen Marie Mayhugh; brothers, John Ashley Hemperley and Will Robert Hemperley; grandchildren, Jackson Pittman and Carter Pittman.
The family will receive friends for a visitation, Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Holly Baptist Church, 6172 Sumerduck Rd, Remington, VA 22734 with a funeral service to follow at 2:00PM . A burial will follow the service at Mt. Holly Cemetery.
