Shawn L. Fansler, age 67 of Franklin, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 1:54 AM at Hospice of Dayton. Born in Dayton on November 1, 1957 he was a son to the late Carol & Dolores (Rasnick) Fansler. He was a member of the VFW in Franklin, and the American Legion in Waynesville. Shawn was a carpenter, and quite the “handy man”. He was a fun loving guy, who never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his significant other, Karon Remillard: siblings Kylene & Kenneth Rigney; Dwain Fansler: nephews Keith Rigney; Killian Fansler: as well as a host of friends.
Friends may call on the family from 11:00- 11:45 AM on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the Anderson Funeral Home, Franklin, Ohio. A short memorial service will be held at 11:45 AM at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Rosehill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio. If desired memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Shawn’s honor.
