Lisa had a kind and generous soul. Her warm smile made those around her feel welcome. She was committed to making her community a better place, but most importantly, her family was foundational to her life and mission. She was a loving wife, mom, gigi, sister, and aunt, and she meant so much to so many people. Lisa kept herself very busy with Girl Scouts and the PTO; she also worked for Meijer and the Carlisle Local Schools. In her recreational time, Lisa loved finding that perfect antique at a yard sale and traveling out west to wherever her heart took her, with Yellowstone National Park and the ocean holding a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Charlotte, Sandra, and Sheila Watson; and brother, Harold Watson.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Richard Pennington; daughters, Callie (David) Lindholm, and Hannah (C.J. Paulin) Pennington; grandchildren, Caleb and Natalie Paulin; sister, Janet (Mark) Warmouth; nieces and nephews, Alyssa (Cody) Hess; Michael (Jenny) Warmouth, Mark (Taylor) Warmouth, and Sam (Abby) Watson; great nieces and nephews, Scarlett Hess, Barrett Watson, Lincoln Watson, Sawyer Watson, Violet Hess, Colett Hess, and Aspen Warmouth; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
