Kent Anthony Hollon, age 60 of Centerville, OH passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. He was born in Middletown, OH on July 10, 1964, the son of Janice Marie Yocum (Jerry) Brickley and the late Gordon Lee Hollon.
In addition to his mother and step-father, Kent is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law: Kevin Hollon, Rick (Sonya) Brickley; nieces and nephews, Jason Brickley, Heather (Matt) Konold, Kalee (Donnie) Williams, Allyson (Griff) Heft, Lycia (Nate) Bond; a grand niece, Dawson Paige Bond; aunt, Wanda Yocum; uncle, Bill (Becky) Yocum. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Kent was a 1982 graduate of Dayton Christian High School and a 1986 graduate of Oral Roberts University with a Bachelor of Music Education Degree. He was a much loved music teacher having taught in the Franklin City School System for 31 years, previously he had taught 2 years at Ridgeville Christian School.
A visitation for Kent will take place on Monday November 11, 2024 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Anderson Funeral Home-Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street with Pastor Joe Shutts officiating. Interment will follow in Springboro Cemetery. The family will also receive visitors at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
