Judy Ann Bishop

June 23, 1940 - August 15, 2024

Judy Ann (Potts) Bishop, age 84, of Carlisle, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton on August 15, 2024. Judy was born to the late William Oscar and Helen Jean (Tolle) Potts on June 23, 1940.

Judy was preceded in death by her loving husband Mark Bishop. Judy is survived by her daughter, Jackie (Keith) Lunsford; her son Matt (Heather) Bishop; her sisters Sue (Steve) Stevens and Marcia George; her grandchildren, Kristen, Megan, Lauren, and Carlie; and her great grandchildren, Gavyn, Owen, Logan, Dylan, Oakleigh, Emma, and Sophie.

Judy worked most of her life for Carlisle Local Schools before retiring to be a caretaker for her father. She loved working alongside such an amazing group of educators and support staff at Carlisle Junior High School where she made lifelong friendships. She was a member of Springboro First United Methodist Church.

Judy loved her family very much. She will be missed immensely.

A visitation for Judy will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home in Franklin, Ohio, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Springboro Cemetery.
