Jon was owner and operator of Jon Kennedy Trucking, previously employed by Wilson Concrete, and Foodliner. John was a hardworking, over the road trucker.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Nancy Kennedy: sons, Jon William Kennedy, Kevin Kennedy and stepson, Scott Wells: grandchildren, Shane, Jon, Jennifer, Ashley, Crystal, Alyssa, Tessa, Sharyl, Thomas and Zach: 12 great grandchildren: sisters, Janie, Pat and Georgie: sister in laws, Leslie and Sandy.
Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the Anderson Funeral Home- Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street.
