Jennifer S Pasley

Jennifer S. Pasley, age 60, of Carrollton, KY passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the Locust Ridge Nursing Home in Williamsburg, OH. Jennifer was born in Dayton, OH on October 24, 1963 to the late James D. and Norma (Combs) Pasley.

Jennifer enjoyed music, ballet and reading. We should remember Jenny for her enthusiasm and confidence. In 1978, she starred in a school production of Oliver Twist. She was a member of the chorus who were described by a journalist as singing with true gusto. Her cheerleading team won the K Pep award in the 1979 season. This is given to the squad who showed the most Pep and Enthusiasm. In her high school memories graduation book in 1981 she was asked to write names in various categories, smartest, best looking, best athlete. In the category of highest character, she proudly wrote her own name. Also in 1981, when she was honor attendant for a family friends wedding, the local newspaper described her outfit. Her gown was of crept de seine, she carried a Chantelle lace fan with an attached bouquet of roses, baby breath stephanotis and ribbon. Quite the enthusiastic ensemble. This enthusiasm for life was also clear in her report cards. While a good solid B student all her report cards said she had a 100% attendance and time record. As her family we all think this enthusiasm and confidence carried her through what many of us know was a challenging life. We will miss her smile and enthusiasm but happy in the knowledge she is back with her loving and doting parents.

She is survived by her aunts, Glenda Glenn, Jo McCampbell; numerous cousins, wonderful caregivers, Tracey, Patty, Christy and others at Locust Ridge Nursing Home in Williamsburg, OH and many friends from Jonesville Rest Home in KY.

A visitation for Jennifer will be Friday, July 26, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ann Meyers officiting.

Burial will be in Dallasburg Masonic Cemetery, Wheatly , KY. on Friday at 2pm.
