Connie was the beloved daughter of Barbara Eagle and the late Robert Eagle. She is survived by her devoted husband, Frank Sanders, their loving children, John (Kaitlin) Sanders and Kelly Barker, her dear mother Barbara Eagle, as well as her siblings: Kathy (Chris) Cavender, Tim (Linda) Eagle, and David Carroll. She was also survived my 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Connie's life was marked by a profound commitment to education and a passion for helping others. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Miami University, a testament to her dedication to learning and personal growth. Connie retired as a Special Education teacher at Mason City Schools, where her nurturing and caring approach touched the hearts of countless students and colleagues.
Beyond her professional life, Connie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She cherished family gatherings and was the heart of any gathering with her warm smile and kind words. Her unwavering support and love will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Connie's strength and resilience in the face of adversity were an inspiration to all who knew her. She faced her battle with cancer with grace, courage, and an unyielding spirit. Her memory will serve as a reminder of the power of determination and the importance of cherishing each moment of life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a cancer research organization in Connie's honor. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, October 19th from 5p-7p at the Anderson Funeral Home Celebration of Life Center in Franklin, OH. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 20th at 12n at Trissel Cemetery, New Lebanon, OH.
Connie Jo Sanders will forever be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and the love she shared with those lucky enough to know her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of all who had the privilege of being a part of her life.
