Dena was born on July 10, 1954 in Boston, MA to Richard and Reta Horne.
Dena married William Eldridge on September 1, 1984 and the couple had 2 daughters together.
She enjoyed doing puzzles, arts and crafts, fishing, watching her Boston teams, board games, had a huge love for horses, spending time with her Hastings crew, supporting her Kennyman's music, but mostly enjoyed her family time. Dena especially loved her role as Nana. Her family and friends will always remember her as an energetic, strong and brave warrior.
Dena is lovingly remembered and survived by her daughter Jennifer and her husband Kenneth Graves of Mendon, her daughter Karyn Eldridge and fiancé Joseph Morin of Webster, her sisters Lynn Sullivan, Patricia Horne, Donna Cooper, Helena Hall, her brothers Richard Horne and Christopher Horne, and her adored grandson Kenneth Jr. She also had many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Reta Horne and her husband, Willie.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 4 - 6 pm with a Celebration of Life at 6 pm at Advantage Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Dena’s life. Please wear bright colors or floral attire is encouraged.
