Stanley Halimaile Kamohalii, Jr. 58, passed away April 21, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family after a difficult battle with liver cancer.
Stanley was born December 30, 1954 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Stanley H. Kamohalii, Sr. and Gracetta (Lani) Kamohalii. After traveling abroad and in the United States, the family was stationed at Fort Carson and settled in Widefield, CO. Stanley, his two brothers and two sisters all attended Fountain-Ft. Carson and Widefield Schools.
Stanley is survived by his wife Cindy Kamohalii of Fountain, CO., his father Stanley and Mother Lani of Widefield, CO., brother Lenford (Springfield, IL), Sister Grace and Dave Gage (Kremmling, CO) and Sister Davenlyn Kamohalli-Block and Dave Renken of Keystone, CO. He is also survived by his Son Anthony Phenix (Kileen, TX) Daughter Nakeli H. Kamohalii, Granddaughters Kalea Nalani Kamohalii and Lahela Pualani Kamohalii all of Pocatella, ID. And stepchildren: Lincoln, Tanner, Brenna and Michala Scott all of Fountain, CO.
“Uncle” will be greatly missed by Virginia Block and Keri Gage of Lahaina, Maui HI. Kalib, Brittney, Jayden and Bradley Block and Teisyn Block of Lahaina, Maui HI. Lynsey, Josh, Page and Keilealani Pullium of Glenwood, CO. and Kanani, Becka, Ke’ala, Alexis and Pono Gage of Kremmling, CO.
He was preceded in death by his brother David N. Kamohalii (Kawika).
Stanley loved life and enjoyed many things life had to offer. His main passions were his music, his art, his heritage, his friends and family and his Broncos.
A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, April 26, 2013 at Dove-Witt Funeral Home Hwy 85/87 Fountain, CO. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests Memorial Contributions to Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation 2550 Tenderfoot Hill St. Colorado Springs, CO 80906.
