Clarence William Young (C.W.) age 75 of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on January 5th, 2022.
Clarence was born in September 1946 in York, PA. He attended William Penn H.S. He was married to his wife Jenny for 53 years. Clarence served in the United States Air Force as a Sergeant and performed as a snare drummer in the Air Force Academy Drum and Bugle Corps. Following his military service, he served as a police officer for the City of Colorado Springs. Clarence later joined his wife Jenny in running Security Widefield Travel in Fountain, CO. Clarence was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fly fishing.
Clarence is survived by two sons, their spouses, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Jenny.
A memorial service for Clarence will be held on January 13 at 2:00 P.M. at Dove Witt Family Mortuary in Fountain, CO. 6630 South US Hwy 85/87. A reception will follow. Clarence will be interned at Pikes Peak National Cemetery on January 28 at 11:00 A.M.
