She spent most of her life in Fountain and at one time even worked for this paper. Her family meant everything to her, and she enjoyed camping and family get togethers. Betty was the matriarch of a large family and kept things running like (a General) over a small army. She retired from Ampex and spent her retired years volunteering for the Fountain Valley Historical Museum. One of the highlights in her later years was being the Grand Marshall of the Labor Day Parade with her husband Jack in 2013.
A graveside service for Betty will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery, 757 S. Santa Fe Ave., Fountain, Colorado.
