Arden Lee Fisher was born September 22, 1936 to Arthur and Adeline Fisher in Philip, South Dakota and departed this life on earth December 12, 2024 at his home in Colorado Springs, CO, surrounded by family.
He is survived by his two children, son, Mark (Cathy) Fisher of Widefield, and daughter Melinda "Mindy" Carlysle of Colorado Springs. Arden was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, Adam (Wendy) Fisher (Nathaniel and Jonathan), Dustin (Morgan) Fisher (Peyton and Cole), Ashley (Rudi) Napitupulu (Jessee, Jenna, Jude, Clasen and Ashton), Jocelyn (Bryant) Heisch (Melody and Emma), Jessica (Sean) Farrior (Karter, Callie and Kenedie), and Jennifer Cronkey.
Arden is preceded in death by his wife, Ardys Fisher, his Father, Mother, and two sisters, Darlene and Phyllis Fisher.
Arden was a long time member of Security Christian/Pikes Peak Christian Church and most recently would attend Heart of the Springs Church online where his Grandson resides as a Pastor for Youth. Arden put his faith and trust in Jesus as his Savior.
Arden joined the Air Force in the 1950s where he served in Greenland and Chandler, MN for several years prior to being married to Ardys Moen in 1961 in Lake Wilson, MN.
Arden later worked in sales for Upton Gardens, Kenny’s Nursery and Tru Value for many years and did maintenance for All Seasons Realty.
Arden was an avid Colorado sports fan of the Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies and Avalanche.
He was a lover of all animals and had several dogs/cats over the years, and most recently had a chicken that wandered onto his porch who he aptly named “Chicken Nugget”.
He will be missed by all!
