I can't believe it was over 15 years ago that I met you in San Francisco.  Who would have ever thought that a simple leg lock joke would still be in our conversations years later lol.  There are so many memories over the years and I will never forget all the good times!  You were someone that was always there for your family and friends and put everyone else before yourself.  You knew how to stay positive and be the life of the party.   I will never forget the time you got the call that you were cancer free on New Years Day and we celebrated all day out by the firepit drinking wine!  You and your family and friends made California feel like home to me during my time there.  I honestly don't even know how to say goodbye because it still doesn't even seem real.  Your family and loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  You will be missed dearly by so many but I know you have touched so many peoples lives over the years.  Since I can't be at your memorial I will be toasting you with a glass of wine this evening!  You will always be in my heart!

I met Drew when we both worked for RAR Hospitality.  I started out as  Director of sales for my hotel in Phoenix and Drew was the GM for Quality Inn and Suites in Colorado.  After a couple of years I promoted up to a GM for my hotel and Drew was my mentor. He had a huge impact in my life. He always gave me great business advice. We then just became very good friends from there.  I really miss our talks. My heart is breaking that you are gone but I know you are looking down and watching over all of us. RIP my dear friend. You will truly be missed.

Drew, we just celebrated our birthdays... You were only 4 days younger than me, and now you have your own obituary…. this is surreal.   I don’t remember the exact moment or even an exact year when we met. It was through a friend of a friend and way over 15 years ago…. We had very similar outlook on life and became close friends. I liked that we could talk about anything- dates, work, politics, friends, family… I could call you any time and you would find the time for me. You were an old soul, a good listener and an awesome support. I really valued that I could always count on you. I am going to miss giving each other grief and then laughing about it. You really got my sarcasms, and there was never a dull moment with you. Every single conversation was uplifting and kept me in good spirits for days. We’ve had some crazy adventures that still make me smile. You had so much passion for life and compassion for others. You always saw the best in people and made them feel special, which I always admired.  You were brave and truly inspirational when you battled cancer.  Never-ever have I heard you complain about the pain after the chemo. You made everyone around you feel that everything is ok, and this was just an inconvenience that will pass rather than the real scare. You were comforting us instead… 
We talked a lot less when you moved to Colorado and found a new life, a new passion, a jeeping tribe, and made a new family. You looked and sounded happy, and I filled my heart with warmth. I knew you were in good hands and I didn’t want to impose.  Now I really regret not calling you more. I am glad you had time to chat on your birthday. You were truly one of a kind and will always have a special place in my heart.  Saying goodbye is the most difficult part. Letting you go really hurts. I will always cherish the memories of you, my amazing friend, a gentleman, and a kind human being.  May your soul rest in eternal peace. LOVE you always. 

When I met Drew on the trails I thought what a fun and crazy guy.  He had this infectious laugh that made everyone smile.  I first met him on the trail that founded his new name " Ghostrider "    I was also his Real Estate Broker that sold him his new home.  When we would look at homes he would first say " I need to see the garage"  When we found his new home he new this would be the one because the garage was large and had a nook for his tools so he could work on his Jeep and help anyone else work on their Jeeps.  I think the house was just a bonus 🤣.  Drew you will be missed by so many!  Thank you my fun, light hearted friend for coming into my life and bringing such joy by just being you. Drew was an amazing boss to me and my team, and a great leader by example. He was devoted to his family and talked fondly of them all often. I am deeply saddened by the news of his passing, and am certainly keeping all of his family and loved ones in my thoughts through such a difficult time. 

This amazing man I met roughly 6-7 years ago. I joined a off road group on MeetUp. This is where I met ALL my great off road friends. From there we took off with our own Facebook group because we wanted to add videos, Colorado Springs 4LOW.  So, we all met at my house on the deck all 5 of us.  
Drew took me under his wing and showed me my trucks capabilities.
From Kong to Ghost rider we all had some good trail time. My name was Pigpin. I LOVED getting dirty in ANY kind of puddles. 
Drew loved life, was very passionate about the trails, and most all one of my best friends. 
He will be missed dearly in the community.

A helpful hero. Drew was always helping me and my family with something. From permission to use his Quality Inn Hotel parking lot for my Chick-fil-A event parking, to helping my family and I haul wood at our mountain property, to saving us one Valentines Day when we got stuck in the mud up at our property and he changed his romantic plans to help us get out and even shared his steak dinner. 

Most of all he helped me launch my business dreams of owning and starting my own Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort and I’m eternally grateful.  From setting up my proforma business projections to planning an operating budget, to helping me hire and train staff and most recently guiding me on everything from COVID restrictions to what lightbulbs to use at the hotel. No matter how busy he was he always took my call. 

He also rode with my bike club for a while and I think he looks like a true super hero in this photo. 

My heart goes out to all of his friends and family and his love Michelle. I’m so sorry for the loss of your  Andrew and his passing way too soon! 

Great boss, better friend. He was the boss you rarely found sitting behind a desk.  He showed us what a real leader was. And if ever you needed help or advice he did his best to make sure you got the best of him.  The world is a better place for Drew having occupied it and I will miss him tremendously. 

Seven years you have been in my life...one way or another...good times and bad times.  I still remember when you gave me my nickname-LilChop- and we Christened your jeep Kong!  Haha you were so proud! So many shenanigans, you and I got into...so glad we escaped unscathed! Hahha. You were my brother, friend and confidant...I was your sis, your LilChop ... 
Memories of Mt Yale...Lily and Mr. Brown pants. The steak dinner you made us that night!  Gawd, could you cook!  Lol and your famous meat and cheese trays! It’s all about the presentation, LilChop... hahah

The day I met Drew, and ultimately the day his jeep became forever known as "Ghostrider."  A group of us jeepers met on the trail China Wall on a beautiful sunny day.  At our introductions I knew Drew was going to be a friend forever.  His passionate caring disposition was only matched by his infectious personality and laugh.  The trail began, he was fearless in his Jeep as he was in life.  As we entered an area full of aspen trees, a Jeep began to go rolling past me and careened into a group of trees.  The Jeep had wedged itself in between 2 aspens.  So tight the doors couldn't open.  But where was Drew?  He had fallen out of the door trying to take a photo of another fellow friend and started to lose his phone thus tumbling to the ground.  As he came running up to his Jeep, he wasn't angry... it was just Drew... smirking and laughing.  After we dislodged his Jeep... I knew I had met a lifelong friend.  See you on the other side, you'll be missed terribly.   Much love and peace to you.

My husband and I met Drew through our wheeling experiences. He is such a great guy! There are many memories we have from Ram offroad park and Rainbow Falls, but our most recent was our trip a few months ago in Eagle Rock. He was the first one up the trail and someone got stuck, he went to winch the guy and the winch line broke. He then tried to strap the guy and the Jeep damn near tipped over on its side because in "Drew" fashion the gas pedal was his best friend. We all laughed and had such a good time. You will be missed dearly. Love and peace to the family. 

I met Drew about 10 years ago. He was my boss that did not hesitate to give me some very constructive criticism as a good mentor should. Years later, we hardly kept in touch but did meet up for drinks one night that I will never forget. Fun times were had that night and almost crashed at his place, but that’s just the type of guy he was. A caring individual that was fun to be around. Sad we didn’t get to hang out more while he was still in SD but until we meet again, I’ll miss you buddy.

We first met Andrew at our son Chad and his sister April’s wedding.  I have had the pleasure of seeing his Jeep pictures and texting with him occasionally ever since he moved to Colorado.  My heart goes out to his family and friends.  May he rest in peace.

Top of the World Moab Heck of a day Tons of snow Andrew lost tire in true Andrew fashion we got it changed and made it to the top. He even sat on the edge so crazy.
