Funeral Service: 2 p.m., Friday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel in Fort Worth, with Brother Dennis Hester officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
W.C. was born on April 29, 1947 in Bearden, Arkansas to Fred and Katie Taylor. He was a lifelong farmer and rancher. W.C. was a member of Young Farmers of Texas and Farm Bureau. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. W.C. was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Madisonville.
Preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Lorraine Taylor; and his father and mother-in-law, Woodrow and Beatrice Hensarling.
Survivors: loving wife of 43 years, Woodlynn Taylor; children, Veronica Simes and husband David, and Will Taylor; grandchildren, Sarah and Abigail Simes; siblings, Jackie Green, Billie Green and wife Judy, and Patty Sue Boyd and husband Joel; nieces, Kim Green Taylor and Taylor Beck; and nephew, Christian Boyd.
