A Visitation for Wayne will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Rita Catholic Church, 5550 E. Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76101, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM.
Wayne was born to Walter and Lois Graff in Northfield, Minnesota. Wayne was baptized and confirmed at St. Dominic's Catholic Church where he attended school through eighth grade. After eighth grade, Wayne attended Crosier Seminary in Onamia, Minnesota for two years before returning to Northfield to graduate from Northfield Senior High.
After graduation, Wayne joined the US Air Force. He trained in Texas and then served for 10 years in Germany, England, and in the US. In 1988, Wayne was honorably discharged from the service and he moved to Ft. Worth, Texas. Wayne found his calling in motorcycles. He was a very avid rider. He worked as a parts and service manager for several motorcycle shops in the DFW area. While working with motorcycles during the day, he took college courses at night and earned his degree in Business Management from South University in Savannah, Georgia. Wayne was an active member at St Rita's church in Ft Worth. He sang in the choir and was also a cantor; which he loved. Wayne was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and was very active in the council.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lois; his brother Mark, and his sister Janet.
He is survived by his brothers, Gary (Cathy); Tony (Nona); Charles (Anne); his sisters Debbie Engen (Pete); and Cheryl Graff. He leaves behind an aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St Rita's Catholic Church or the American Diabetes Association.
