Sue Benson Tyler

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Marilyn Benson of Azle.

Suzi is survived by her husband Jim Tyler, daughter Elizabeth Porter and her husband Jason Porter, her children Chloe and Claire LaBoube, daughter Sarah Fry and her husband Jeremy Fry, her children Ella and Jordan Fry, daughter Rachel Burgess and her husband Jason Burgess, her children Ava and Landry Burgess, and daughter Rebecca Spaulding and her husband Jeremy Spaulding, her children Hunter and Hayden Spaulding, siblings Patti McCallister, Bill Benson, Diane Feemster, Scott Benson, and Keith Benson.

Suzi was witty, caring, and had a comforting heart. She loved to laugh, and her daughters’ antics were a constant source of entertainment. Suzi had a unique gift for design, creating fanciful holiday decorations, floral arrangements, and gardenscapes. She created beautiful floral designs for her daughters’ weddings, accentuating each personality. Suzi’s family was always excited to see the fun holiday decorations at Grammy’s house. Her backyard garden was perpetually blooming with beautiful flowers and greenery due to her care. Suzi made the world more beautiful, and she will be sorely missed.

Services will be at 11 am, Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Legacy Church of Christ in North Richland Hills.
