Sharron Ledrick passed peacefully from this life into her eternal home on January 16, 2024, at the age of 73. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and a beloved friend to many people that she met throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents Honey and Russell D. Harrington as well as her sister Pam Mills and her brother-in-law Richard Mills. She is survived by her husband James E. Ledrick of North Richland Hills, TX; son Michael Shannon Cato of North Richland Hills, TX; son Brandon Todd Cato of Spring, TX; brother Russell D. Harrington Jr. (Donna) of Little Rock, AR; and sister Mary Ann Bishop (Jim) of Mandeville, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sharron was a friend to all and never met a stranger. As a pastor’s daughter, she grew up attending her dad’s church where she began her relationship with Christ . She spent her high school years in North Little Rock where she attended North Little Rock High School. The greatest joy of her life was being a mother to Shannon and Brandon. Later in life she enjoyed traveling and meeting new people; singing karaoke with friends; spending time with her family; and exploring outdoors. While living in Colorado, she loved going into the mountains and viewing all of God’s magnificent creation. Sharron had a giving heart and was always willing to help those in need. Throughout her hardest times, it was the love and encouragement of her family and friends, near and far, that gave her comfort and hope. Sharron’s smile, laughter and generosity will be missed most by those who loved her.
A celebration of Sharron’s life will be on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 1:30 P.M. The service will be at Shannon Funeral Home, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, TX, 76148. Shannon Funeral Home will televise the service on their YouTube channel at said time.
