A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 15th at Leonard Memorial Chapel at First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth.
His memory may be honored by a gift to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
Bob was born August 24, 1929, in Fort Worth. He graduated from Handley High School in 1947. Bob served in the United States Army for two years during the Korean War. He worked as police office in Richland Hills and North Richland Hills. He then worked as an investigator for the Tarrant County District Attorney for 20 years and retired in 1995.
In 1962, he married Colleen Cannon. Bob was a member of Handley Masonic Lodge for 65 years. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. He also enjoyed country music and liked playing his guitar and singing for the residents at Meadow Lakes and Bethesda Gardens.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, George and Sue Morris; wife, Colleen Morris; sister-in-law Betty Cannon and brother-in-law Leon Taylor.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Jean Cannon Taylor; niece, Jennifer Taylor Jolin; grandnephew, Thomas Jolin.
The family would like to thank Bethesda Gardens for providing care for him during his year and a half of life.
