Mr. Reginald (Reggie)Thompson, Sr. was born May 29, 1977, in Shelby, MS to Ms. Deborah
Gant Walker and the late Lawrence Thompson of Mound Bayou, MS; the youngest of two
siblings. Reggie accepted Christ as his Savior at the tender age of six at Mount Olive Missionary
Baptist Church in Mound Bayou, MS. In 2001 Reggie met Kisha. They were married in 2003. In
2012, Reggie and Kisha moved to Fort Worth, TX.
Reggie loved watching sports; the Dallas Cowboys and New York Knicks were his favorite
sports teams, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He had a very positive
spirit. He always motivated his family to pursue their dreams.
He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in1995. He went on to get a bachelor’s
degree from Mississippi Valley State University and a master’s degree from Capella University.
He also completed the certification program to become a Long-Term Care Administrator at
Tarrant County College.

of Conway, Arkansas, Christopher Woods of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Ryan Amos of Byram, MS,
Bryson Ware of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Ja’llahni Reid of Cleveland, MS; mother in law Diana
