Paula Elva Soto

passed away at 70 years old on Monday, January 30th. Paula was born in Grafton, North

Dakota on September 29, 1952.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Juan Soto, daughters, Juanita Venegas and

Veronica Flewellyn, and son, Juan Soto, Jr., son-in- laws, Rene Venegas and Donald Flewellyn

and daughter-in-law, Michelle Annette Soto. Her loving grandchildren are as follows: Rene

Venegas Jr., Anthony Joseph Venegas, Joshua Maximus Venegas, Emily Ann Rose Kaether,

Alexandria Paige Kaether, Stephanie Ryan Soto, Ellie Jay Soto, and Warren Ethan Hoot Soto,

and Great Grandson Noah Santiago Venegas. She is survived by her siblings Raul and Irene

Huerta, Juanita Huerta, Consuelo Huerta, Carolina Reyes, and Jesus Jaime Huerta, and many,

many family members.

Paula was a strong, hardworking woman. She worked at the Texas Department of

Transportation for 28 years till she was forced to retire due to cancer. After 13 years of battling

cancer, God took her into his kingdom. May she rest in peace. Paula was a caring, kind, and

giving person who always put her family first before her own needs. She loved playing bingo

and shopping. She especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
