Patricia Ann Moore

Mrs. Patricia Ann (Pat) Hager Moore, age 86, of Arlington. Texas, entered this life on October 28th,1936. She was born in Cumberland, Maryland to Richard and Myrtle (Nixon) Hager. Pat was the eighth of ten children. Pat graduated from Allegany High School in 1955. She was united in marriage to Charles Moore on August 20, 1958 in Ellersie, Maryland. Charles and Pat were blessed with three sons and one daughter.

Pat worked for the A&P Grocery after graduation. She and Charles moved to Arlington, Texas in 1961. Upon moving to Texas she felt her most important job was raising her children. Her love of children led her to childcare business in her home. She always brought a since of fun, adventure and love when raising her children. Her commitment to children was evident as she opened her home as a foster parent to children so they would have a safe and loving home. Pat was a doting grandmother and great grandmother. She always felt the children made their home bright and full of laughter. She loved to host family gatherings and would make her famous Packie Cake for family birthdays. She enjoyed playing Bingo with her kids and not only marking her multiple cards but the person’s beside her. Pat enjoyed trips to Win Star with her son & daughter. She was always up for an adventure with her family. Games were always her favorite; especially a good game of dominos before dinner. She and Charles enjoyed taking their grandchildren on vacations. She loved her home state of Maryland and driving back home to visit her family. Pat was a member of Northwest Christian Church of Arlington and loved to participate in the crafting group that would meet weekly to make items for the yearly craft sale. Pat loved her family and they in turn were devoted to her. Pat died Friday July 21, 2023.

Pat will be missed by her husband, Charles Moore, her daughter, Tracy Garner of Azle, Texas three sons, Chuck Moore & his wife, Susan, Jim Moore and Robert Moore all of Arlington, Texas, her grandchildren Justin Garner and his wife, Kristi, Rick Garner, Travis Moore, Amy Neuzil and her husband Joe, Taylor Goode and his fiancé, Abby, her great grandchildren Kylie, Kelsie, Charlie, Logan, Harper and Stevie, her sister, Darlene Collins. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Myrtle Hager, brothers George Hager, Harry Hager, Robert Hager, Louis Hager, and Donald Hager, sisters Betty Marlow, Laura Phares, and Mary Lou Clauss, and son-in-law, Mark Garner.

A visitation for Patricia will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel and Cemetery, 7301 East Lancaster, Fort Worth, TX 76112, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
