Incredibly humbled to know and work with Pam at Cook Children’s in the early 2000’s. Her energy and positivity were beautiful. Always ready, willing, and able to help anyone around her struggling.

Sorry to here about this loss. Pam was a good friend and neighbor. We will miss her. From Dennis, Amalia, and Nathan Nichols and Maria Arreguin.

My sincere condolences to all of Pam's family and friends.  Pam was my director and awesome mentor at Cook Children's Hospital.  She had the biggest heart and such a positive attitude.  I will forever be grateful for the opportunity she gave me in my current career.  I will continue to pray for her family for peace and strength during this difficult time. 

I am so sorry for your loss, Chris and Jonathon.  I too have many fond 
 memories of Pam at Cook Children's.  First as a coworker, then as the wife of my friend.  The many special times you took me along as the 3rd wheel to all kinds of places during the summers, when my family was back in Canada for vacation were always a hoot!  Just one of the many, but biggest attributes of Pam that come to mind is her unconditional love for her family.  Not only her family, but anyone that was fortunate enough to have known her.   My brief words cannot express how much Pam will be missed.

Working with Pam at Cook Children's always put a smile on my face.  She was always so responsive and upbeat making you feel your call was the most important.  I knew if Pam got the call the response was going to be correct.  After she left Cook Children's, I loved running into Pam in Crowley/Burleson with Chris.  I still remember this past 4th of July Pam calling out my name.  Pam you left a mark on many peoples lives and hearts.  You will be missed my dear.



Pam was such an amazing woman. She was an inspiration to me when I met her at Cook Children's. I found out that she and her husband lived down the street from me in Burleson. I would love to hear her beloved Sally howl as I walked my dogs by each day. Pam will always be a treasure in my memory of her. May God comfort her family and close friends. 

I worked with Pam for many years at Cook Children's, and she was one of my favorite people.  She had a way about her that made people feel special and like they were the only person that mattered.  If there was a difficult situation, Pam was the person to help diffuse it, as she had a most calming demeanor.  She loved to serve others and to help in any way that she could.  She was a giving and caring person...  she served others selflessly.  

Heaven got a good one with Pam.  Rest in peace, my dear friend! 

I will truly miss Pam. What a blessing she was to so many people. I worked with Pam for 27 years since 1997 both at Cook Childrens and Childrens Medical in Dallas. There are so many words to try to describe how precious Pam was to so many people. She always had a smile and loved others and life itself. Her zest to help others was like no other. No problem was too big for Pam- she always wanted to understand the perspectives from everyone- patients, parents, physicians, nurses, co-workers and administrators.  I will always remember her voice and her calls asking me, "well Susan what do you think...or how can we best help this family"?.  She cared. She was the epitome of caring for and about others. She was there when Cooks was expanding and helped with its growth under her Admissions Director leadership. She was a true leader and mentor to so many.  Pam you were an Angel here on earth and I know you have your special wings in Heaven- I have no doubt. We love you and all that you were.

To the family that Pam could never stop talking about:  She was so proud of where she came from.  She loved to talk about her mom, her dad, Chris and her dog Sally, and the donkeys across the street.  Oh, and going to Canton with her mom and aunt (s).  I always wanted to go too.  She was the only boss I have ever had that I could tell her anything.  She was a great listener.  And always made me feel like I was worth something.  To say she touched many, many lives is not enough.  She had the voice, the laugh, the walk, and the determination to do anything.  Knowing she did all she could in her short 65 years gives us all some kind of story to tell.   Her legacy lives on through many Cook Children's employees.  Prayers of peace for all of you. 


I find it challenging to fully express the significant role Pam played in our lives. Our lives were linked with Pam’s in innumerable ways both professionally and personally. Pam hired both James and I at Cook Children’s. So if not for her, there would never have been an us. She saw something in James he did not even see in himself, and took him on as her wingman. She led, mentored, and talked his ears off for twenty-two years. She built in him the confidence and skill to take the torch from her when she retired last year. Since that day, his goal has been to honor her and her phenomenal professional accomplishments by continuing to lead like she led. Even more than professionally, Pam impacted our lives personally. She was our friend. Pam and Chris were the first at our door in times of joy or sorrow bringing cards, gifts, meals, and even cake warm out of the oven. She cared about us, our children, our parents and showed it in both big and small ways. Pam was a rare individual in today’s world. She did not just talk the talk, she truly walked the walk. She lived out her faith and 
values every minute of every day. Our hearts are heavy and the thought of a world without Pam is hard to imagine. Her belief that “she would beat this” inspired those around her, and we too believed she would. The truth is, she did indeed beat it, just not on this side of heaven. We rejoice in knowing she is fully healed in the arms of our Savior. I can imagine her leading a choir of angels (because of course she is in charge!) singing Mercy Me songs to Jesus. Thank you Chris, Ruby, Herbie, and Rhonda for sharing her with us. We are praying continually for you all. 

 God Bless you Dear Pam on your journey to Heaven. You fought the fight like a real trooper. I don’t know anyone that had such a positive attitude as you! We will always remember you from our gatherings on Friday night Poker games at the McCormicks and Kiefer’s house! Our sincere condolences to your entire family!

Sending my deepest condolences. Pam and I worked together at Cooks for 6 years. She was a mentor, leader and role model. I remember she had the biggest heart and loved her fur babies. She had the best advice to give.  My best memory is her laugh!  Fly high Pam.

So many emotions looking back through pictures and texts.   Remembering all of our times at work and outside of work.   Pam will always have a place in my heart.  I loved watching her work.   Quick.  Always 10 steps ahead.   Efficient.   Walking at a fast pace and trying to keep up with her quick whit.   I loved hearing her sing her songs and my favorite….Harper Valley PTA.    
Pam loved her family.   I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.   Chris, you are an amazing husband and Pam loved you so much.  Thank you Pam for all that you taught me. Where to start, Pam was a mentor, an ear when you needed it, a friend…a leader that lead by example. I learned so much from her teaching and from  watching her from afar. Emulating her leadership skills has helped me grow in my own career. “ it is one thing to be a boss another thing to be a mentor. But a complete different thing to be a leader. I am so proud to have been  led by a boss, mentor, and leader like you.” Fly high Pam, forever privileged and grateful to have had you in my life. 

I loved working with Pam! She was a Leader with a compassionate heart who cared about every single one of her employees’ professional development and personal accomplishments. She would always check on me to ask how I was doing. I will forever be grateful to have had the opportunity to work for her. ❤️❤️

I had the privilege of teaching Pam at Lamar High School.  She is one of those students that stands out in my memory.  As her English teacher, I knew that when she walked through my door, there would be a smile on her face.  If she ever had a bad day, no one knew it.  From what I read about her life, she was that way until the end. Pam, I send my love and respect to you. You were a blessing in my life!

I had the great privilege of working for Pam @ CCMC for 25years.  She was my mentor, my director, and my friend.  She taught me to be strong and confident.  She molded me to provide exceptional financial counselor services to our Cook Childrens families. She even taught me to sing country songs with her "Like Jesus Take The Wheel".
She loved hummingbirds and today I finally realize it's symbol.
The hummingbird as a sign from heaven appears to those in grief and mourning as well as those who feel lost.  Thank you for all those dedicated working years, beautiful memories and your servant heart.

Where does one even begin to describe Pam?  As so many have already said, she was a bright light with a beautiful laugh and contagious smile.  One of a kind.  I have known Pam for over 35 years, when my husband and I first moved to Arlington as a newly married couple.  I looked out my window to see a women trying to find a way into her own home.  It seems her niece (whom she was babysitting) had locked her out of the house!  I had to go help her as she was hollering at Jessica to open the door!  From there we became life long friends.  She came to my “basket parties” which became the butt of a lifetime of jokes and laughter even in her last months.  She and my husband planted a garden together.  She hosted a baby shower when I was pregnant with my son.  We snuck plastic flamingos in each other’s yards overnight.  I can’t remember how that started, but it made us laugh.  She loved my kids and our Pomeranian Pompeii and we loved her and Tootsie!  We didn’t see each other as much over the years, but would usually connect with a lunch every year or two.  She was the type of friend who I could just pick up the conversation where we left off no matter how long it had been.  She was truly my soul sister.  I love her deeply and am so grateful for the time we had, especially during the last few months.
“Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.  Show hospitality to one another without grumbling.  As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”   1 Peter 4:8-10.
Pam embodied that verse to the fullest.
To her family, she loved you all so very much and I know you miss her with broken hearts.  I share in your sorrow and pray that as your heart heals you look forward to joyously reuniting with her in our heavenly home.   I know I certainly do!  She is and always will be a special lady.

I’ve known Pam for at least 25 years and am shocked and heartbroken that she’s gone. What a ball of energy she was. Condolences to her family. 💐 

I had the privilege of working for Pam for 23 years. She mentored and taught by example, always serving others. Her genuine interest in her staff and patient families not only earned deep respect but endeared us all.  She was joyful grateful and looked for the good in others. My sincere condolences to Pam’s family.
I had the great privilege of  working with Pam at Cooks.  She was my mentor and she never hesitated to share information to make it a learning opportunity.  She was deeply invested in her staff and inspired others to build connections with each other. 
Pam, you are one of a kind! Thank you for your servant heart, you have impacted so many lives.

I owe it to Pam for giving me a job at Cook Children’s. Almost a decade of my life spent there working for the best management team, surrounded by the best co-workers, many of whom I’ll be lifelong friends with. I’m so appreciative of that chapter of my life and all of the life lessons learned during that time. I owe it to Pam. My endless gratitude for your gift to me. 

 It seems very apropos to say may you not only rest in peace, may you rest in power Pam.

My heart is broken again. It broke when she retired from Cooks, I missed her bubbly spirit. She always stopped by to say "Hi" and chat with you for a few minutes and that always made my day. The way she greeted everyone like you were one of her kids was so welcoming and I miss that. Now my heartaches because a wonderful person is gone but I know she is up there spreading joy like she did here. I'll miss you Pam you were one of kind. I am so lucky to have met you. My condolences to her family.

I am truly saddened to hear of Pam’s passing. We worked together at Cook Children’s from 1999-2004. We weren’t just co-workers but great friends for many years. I have so many great memories of shopping with her, long nights with the electronic health record implementation and some good cries together. I saw her about 4 years ago at Alsbury church where she had worked with the special needs group. My sister, Deborah Landers will be heart broken to hear of Pam’s passing. 

Prayers for Chris and the family as they learn how to navigate this world without their light! Rest in Peace Pam! You were truly a great person! 

Pam was a precious, treasured friend for over 40 years!  She was smart, sweet, caring, compassionate, and always positive and upbeat!  And she had the funniest laugh that I loved to hear!  She was special in every way—beautiful inside and out! She  loved the Lord with all her heart and her faith never waivered!  Even when she had a bad day, she would always say “God is good!”  And while I grieve her loss and would give anything to hear her laugh one more time, I know she is in Heaven surrounded by light and love  and joy—where there is no sorrow or pain!  So until  I see you again, sweet sister of my heart, know how much  I love you! 

I am so sorry for your loss, it is such a loss for all of us.  She was truly one of the good guys.  I enjoyed working with her and enjoyed talking to her about my Donkeys.  She had a kind and generous heart and we will miss our interactions with her.  Truly one of a kind lady.

Where to begin with Pam. I have many memories with her from church, Zumba class to sitting with her on the train in the mornings. She always made fun of me putting my makeup on and contour - she was just the funniest and I loved all that spunkiness about her. In Zumba class her mouth moved more than her body and in church she was always competing for the loudest note. ❤️ I love how she cared about others, me, my kids. Irreplaceable and I can’t believe I won’t get to laugh with her again or tell “Love you”. 
You will forever be missed Pam but you have a very special place in my heart.

Pam has been my role model for many years. She taught me that it’s okay to be unapologetically yourself and laugh and enjoy work, while also maintaining the utmost professionalism. To this day, she’s the best leader I’ve had, and I’m the leader that I am today because of Pam. I feel so fortunate that I was able to learn from her and work directly with her. I know that many people will be affected by this news and my heart and thoughts go out to those closest to her. 

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Pam at Cook Children's and she was always the sweetest person. She had a great smile that she would share with everyone. They say people live on in the hearts they touched; Pam will be smiling on through so many faces! 

I am so saddened by the news of Pams' passing.  I loved bumping`into her when grocery shopping here in Crowley.  She always spoke and had a smile on her face.  Each November she would come to our church craft fair and never left empty handed.  Pam will be missed.  

When I first joined the medical center, Pam was always there for me. I still remember my interview with her and how she was, just real with everything and did NOT sugar coat anything. She was very honest and very direct. She was defiantly a spit fire that would always do for her staff. She would answer any and all questions and helped me understand how things worked and pushed me to be and do better. I am saddened by hearing her passing. She will be missed. My condolences to her family and others that were blessed to have known her.

I am surprised by her passing because we lost touch but I always loved when I ran into her in any store around Crowley.  She would always try to shy away because she wasn't 'dressed'.
