Nancy Sue Nickelson was born in Dugger, Indiana on July 30, 1942, to Harold and Virginia Beck. Nancy was the daughter of a pastor, where they moved about the country before settling in Texas. Nancy married Norman Nickelson on December 22, 1964, and they had one child, Brian. Nancy was a devoted wife, together they enjoyed spending time at swap meets and car shows. Nancy usually always came home with a t-shirt. Even after Norman's passing, Nancy enjoyed attending car shows and reminiscing with the owners. Nancy was a doting mother and gave her all in raising her only child, Brian. Nancy, fondly known as Nana to her grandchildren, was there to support every life event and activity in which they participated. She was very proud of each of them and their accomplishments and given a moment she would gladly boast about them anytime she had the opportunity.
Nancy was religious in her faith and attended the Summit in Aledo, where she volunteered whenever there was a need. Nancy considered everyone a friend, never knowing a stranger, she would do anything for anyone if asked. Nancy was a kind soul, always smiling and sharing her witty sense of humor and she will be greatly missed by all. Mom, you and dad can continue the life you started building forever now. We love you Nana!
