A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
Nancy Alice Allison was born in Cherokee, Iowa to Louise (Eley) and Clarence Vincent Allison on December 31, 1939. She attended Iowa State University and ultimately obtained a clinical lab tech degree. While employed in her hometown hospital lab, Nancy met and fell in love with Douglas Lee Goodspeed. The couple married on September 17, 1963 in Minneapolis, MN.
Early in their marriage, Nancy and Doug moved to Fort Worth, Texas. She pursued many interests during her full life - lab technician, teacher, homemaker, researcher, and VP of Operations at Micro Medical Interface (the company founded by her husband). Nancy found her true passion volunteering with the Loaves & Fishes soup kitchen of Fort Worth, now known as Community Food Bank. Nancy took the greatest pleasure in time spent with family - truly everything to her.
Nancy is preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Doug and niece, Sarah Naumann.
Nancy is survived by three children. Daughter Camille, her spouse Chris Cresci and their children Alexandra and Vincent; daughter Katherine Goodspeed; and son John Goodspeed; sister Mary Allison; nephew Nathan Steinberg; sister Ruth and her husband Woody Woodcock; niece Laurel Taylor and husband Nicolas Cassis; great-niece Evelyn Naumann.
