Mary Frances Taylor

Mary was born on February 8, 1937, in Aspermont, Texas to Imogene and Chester Smith. She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1955.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and brothers, Larry and Roy.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Denise Barron, Gary Taylor, Teresa Fleischli, and Carey Raymond-Holden; her grandchildren, Braxton Barron, Trenton Barron, Natalie Barron, Alexandra Taylor, Shawn Taylor, Tiffani Crews, Misti Underwood, Crystal Poff, Kimberly Bradley, Lesley Duggar, John Raymond, 17 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.

Mary loved meeting new people and making friends as well as traveling the world. She enjoyed playing cards and winning the table playing “42”. She also loved ice cream socials and the comradery found at these events. She was a long-term member of Eastern Star holding several different positions, including Worthy Matron. Additionally, Mary was an active and dedicated member of the Burleson Church of Christ.

A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Chapel of Chimes in Laurel Land FH - Ft Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134. Following will be a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A committal service will occur Friday, October 29, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park - FW, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134. Minister Karl Jones will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend to celebrate Mary's life.
