Mary was born May 8, 1933 in Hillsboro, Texas. When she became older, she helped her Dad pick cotton for the Markwardts and that's where she met Arthur Markwardt. They dated and were married on September 10, 1955. They were married 63 years until he passed in 2018. While married to Arthur she had several different jobs and then became a homemaker. She loved gardening and growing beautiful flowers. She was a sunday school teacher and sang in the choir at Boulevard Assembly of God Church. And then 3 special people came into her life. Her grandkids, Amber, Amanda, and Austin, which she devoted her love and time to. She was so proud of them and loved them so much. When they had kids, she loved them just as much. Mary loved all her siblings, nieces, and nephews. She enjoyed being around the, as much as she could. Mary was loved by everyone.
