Mary Frances Blanton, 89 a retired cafeteria worker for Fort Worth ISD, and retired YMCA Counselor passed away November 13, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. Visitation:Friday November 18 from 1-2 at First Baptist Church of White Settlement. Followed by service at 2pm at FBCWS. Burial will be at Laurel Land Memorial Park. Mary Frances Blanton was born in Newcastle, TX November 21, 1926. She attended school in Newcastle and moved to White Settlement as a teen, and graduated from Arlington Heights High School. She met and married Carl Preston Blanton Jr. at FBCWS. They were married 49 years at the time of his death. Frances is presently the longest tenured member of FBCWS. Frances and Carl spent many summers as counselors at children's camp, singing in the senior adult choir, and supporting seminary students. Frances is preceded in death by her parents Ted and Minnie Scott; sister, Kate Talmage and husband Carl Blanton Jr. She is survived by daughter, Dianne Robinson and husband Johnny of Bedford; grandson, Doug Robinson and wife Sara; great grandchildren, Avery & Tucker of Hurst; grandson, Richard Robinson and wife Heather of White Settlement, sister, Clista Marlow of Grandbury, and many neices and nephews.
