Mary Lavelle Ainsworth

Mary Lavelle Ainsworth passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019 just one day short of here 88th birthday. She is survived by her son, Billy Hale and wife Kristy of Ft Worth, grandson Clinton Hale, Two sisters, Linda Kent of Stephenville and Leta Ruth Forsythe and husband Billy of Kopperl and one sister in law, Doris McNutt and husband Tom of Cleburne, and many nephews and nieces. Mary Lavelle is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bobby and Jimmy Morgan, son, Terry Hale, grandson Brent Hale and her husband, Glen.

She was born in Blum TX September 4, 1931 to Ira and Lucille Morgan. Mary Lavelle was the oldest of five children born to Mr and Mrs Morgan. She had two brothers and two sisters.

She married Bill Hale in 1950, and had a son, Billy Jr in 1951. She had another son, Terry, in 1953. The marriage didn't last, but soon she met and married James Glen Ainsworth on December 12, 1959. They remained married until his death on December 25, 2018.

Mary Lavelle grew up in Blum TX, graduating from Blum High School in 1949. She then moved to Fort Worth, where she worked at Container Box Company and Pangburns candy factory. Later she became an insurance adjuster and retired in 1994.

Lavelle and Glen moved to Clarks LA after retirement, and lived there till 2017. They moved back to Texas to be closer to family. After Glen's death, Lavelle moved to Stephenville to be close to her sister, Linda Kent.

She was known to everyone as 'Lavelle', and she had a great since of humor and was a caring and giving person.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday September 11, 2019.
