WHITNEY -- Marjorie Bassham, 95, of Whitney passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016. Service: 2 p.m. Monday at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth. Marjorie was a lover of reading with a witty personality. She loved cooking, gardening, God, and being surrounded by her loving family. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Raymond Bassham, and daughter, Carolyn Wardlaw. Survivors: She is survived by her daughters; Connie Kockler and Nancy Day; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
