A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at University United Methodist Church, Fort Worth, Tx with Pastor Beth Evers officiating.
Marilyn was born February 26, 1942, in Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of Marvin Alton Patrick and Clara Dixie (McReynolds) Patrick.
She completed her undergraduate studies at UT & TCU, and graduate school at UNT and taught for the HEB, El Paso, and Fort Worth ISD’s. Marilyn enjoyed singing in the Church choir, quilting, reading and book club activities. She also volunteered her time helping the Methodist Church and other organizations.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Bud Wilkinson, and their son Roy.
She is survived by her daughter Anne Wiggs and her husband Jason; sister, Malinda McCurry; grandchildren Heather and Levi Wiggs and Dominique and Mikayla Wilkinson, and several other family members and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to University United Methodist Church.
