Luke Richard Muns

Luke was born in Fort Worth to William and Lucie Muns on July 25, 1989. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps from 2008-2013. During this time he received several awards including Navy Achievement Medal, NATO Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with M device, National Defense Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Marine Corps Reserve Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon and Commander's Letter of Appreciation. He also worked as a fleet manager for Mukoque Construction LDA in Mozambique, Africa.

Luke was a loving father, son, brother and friend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Arlene and Everett Dutton; and maternal grandmother, Nina Boldyreff Gogin.

Survivors: Paternal grandparents, Nelda and Bill Muns of El Campo; father, Randy Muns of Chico; mother, Lucie Muns of Chico; son, Jackson Muns of Ovilla; significant other, Molly Barton of Ovilla; brothers, Matthew Muns of Southlake, John Muns of Chico; sisters, Anne Muns Hartfield of Grand Prairie and Amanda Muns of Dallas; nieces, Genevieve Hartfiled and Elizabeth Muns; nephews, Julian Hartfield and Theodore Muns; and many other family members and friends.
