Memorial service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Matthew Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 380 N. W. Tarrant Ave., Burleson.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Les' honor to the charity of their choice.
Les was born in Fort Worth in December 1918. Les graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth. He then joined the Army Air Corps and served as an aerial gunnery instructor during World War II from 1940-1945. Les then went to work for Texas Electric Service Company where he spent 37 years as an area representative serving several towns, including his chosen area of Burleson. Les was very active in multiple civic organizations, including the Burleson Lions Club and Chamber of Commerce, where he served in multiple capacities including president of both during the 80s. Serving his community was very important to Les and he remained active in these and other organizations throughout his life.
Les was preceded in death by his son, Barry.
Survivors: Loving wife of 57 years, Peggy; children, Gary Todd and wife, Linda, and Rene Anderson; grandchildren, Spenser Todd and wife, Alisha, and Aaron Todd; great-grandchildren, Madilyn Todd, Baylee Todd; extended family; and many dear friends.
