Les was honorably discharged from the United States Army on March 22, 1961. Les taught his girls to ride horses, English and Western, loved to sing and dance, and was a self made business man. He had an amazing career in sales and made a good life for himself and his family with his company Burton Enterprises.
Les had many hobbies, but was extremely gifted at wood carving. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, and loved sailing which he and his wife Nancy did for many years.
Les is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy L Burton, parents Leslie John Burton and Charlotte Helen Martinengo Burton, sister Betty.
He is survived by his sister Helen Kearney; children Renee Daniel, Tammy Rawlins, Kim Kelly, Lisa Loftin, Cindy and Leon Williams, Amy and Rodney Booze. His grandchildren Chrystal Janard, Richard Todd, Sarah Rawlins, Rachael Merrik, Daniel Kelly, Kaitlyn Kelly, Nikki Coby, Mallory and Travis Fairbairn, Carlie and Dmitri Delafuente, Reagan Booze, Ryan Booze, Rachael Booze, Katie Loftin, and Sarah Loftin and eight great grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
