Ms. Judy Ann Masters

Judy was born September 16, 1949 in Fort Worth,TX to James Kenneth Atkins and Maurine Elizabeth Small Atkins. She was the oldest of 4 children and attended Fort Worth Polytechnic HS until her Family moved to Little Rock where she graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1967. She married in 1968 and had two children, ultimately raising two children as a single mother, often working 2, or sometimes even 3 jobs to make ends meet.

She worked as the club secretary of the Dallas Petroleum Club for several years which led to one of her passions of working in the Oil and Gas industry as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed gardening in her flowerbeds, tracing family genealogy, sewing and spoiling her Grandchildren as often as she was able to do so.

Judy is survived by her Daughter, Kristin McCollum of Wylie, TX, Son, Rusty Masters and his wife Leigh Ann of Keller, TX, Granddaughter Brittany White and her Husband, Austin of Fort Worth, TX, Granddaughter Kacie Crawford and her Husband, Clay of Paul’s Valley, OK, Grandson, Cody Masters of Keller, TX and Great Grandchildren, Hannah Crawford, Kayson White, and Bentley White, Sister Nancy Gilliam and her Husband Gary of Forney, TX, Sister, Peggy Glaze of Garland, TX, Brother Dan Atkins of DeBerry, TX, along with numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Maurine and Kenneth Atkins and several beloved Aunts and Uncles

A visitation for Judy will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134, followed by a graveside service from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
