Her parents were Mary and Jack Turpin. She grew up and graduated from Alvarado, and lived in Crowley for the last 57 years. Joyce worked as the payroll supervisor in the Tarrant County Auditor's Office for over 30 years before retiring in the late 90's.
Joyce loved to travel with family and friends. She was always ready to go, making sure to include some casinos along the way! She loved country music and Elvis. She went to every Elvis concert in Ft. Worth thanks to knowing the right people at the convention center. She loved to dine out! Joyce and her grandson, TJ, probably ate at every restaurant in the metroplex. She loved hosting birthdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations. Everyone was invited. Joyce also loved her grand-dogs, Callie and Mollie. She loved life.
My mom, Joyce, had the sweetest soul. She was patient, supportive and the kindest person you would ever meet. I was so lucky to be able to call her my mom. She was my best friend, my rock, my hero. She was an angel on earth, now in heaven. We will miss that sweet smile of hers. Mom, thank you for being you.
Joyce's health started to decline about 3 years ago, and on February 14, 2022 she went home to be with the Lord. Special thanks to everyone who called her your friend. Please keep the family in your prayers.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, 'Tricia' Endsley. Her parents, Mary and 'Jack' Turpin. Sisters, 'Pat' Turpin and Maebelle Rainwater.
She is survived by her daughter Pam Endsley of Fort Worth and grandson 'T.J' Endsley of Crowley.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in honor of her daughter, Tricia, to The Women's Center of Tarrant County.
